Sadly, 295,000 women die every year from preventable causes related to pregnancy and childbirth [1], and close to 2.5 million babies die within their first month of life [2].This is preventable. This is why we exist.
We are dedicated to supporting girls, women and their families in their efforts to realise better health, especially throughout adolescence and motherhood. This means working with partners and communities to identify local and context-specific issues that are linked to poor health and supporting long-term solutions that optimise women’s health and well-being.
